WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness in which the patient’s conscious and subconscious mind is focused and receptive to therapeutic suggestions. PRIOR EXPERIENCES

In addition to being in private practice since 1978, Dr. Tramontana was Director of the North Mississippi Mental Health & Retardation Center from 1972-1975, Director of Special Services at the Gulf Coast Mental Health Center from 1975-1978, and  Vice-President from 1981-1994. Clinical Director of Behavioral Educational Training Associates, Inc. which primarily does Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) with Federal agencies throughout the U.S.             Since 2004, he has also been a Psychologist/Medical Consultant for the Disability Determinations Unit of the LA Social Security Administration.
